One of the most famous music festivals in the world is now coming to Croatia!

After years of invitations by EXIT fans in the region and intensive cooperation with Croatian musicians, artists and the media since its establishment, EXIT team is coming to Istria this summer! The team behind the four awards for best European festivals (EXIT and Sea Dance) is launching the new Sea Star Festival, during which as many as 70 performers will perform on six stages in the tourist complex of Stella Maris in Umag from May 25 until 28th.

This Istrian town is rich in Mediterranean spirit, historical baroque and renaissance buildings and narrow streets that lead to numerous authentic restaurants. A perfect introduction for the EXIT Summer of Love!
Program for the two biggest Sea Star Festival stages – Addiko Tesla Stage and Nautilus Arena powered by Radio 101. Impressive, eclectic and exciting are the words to describe the mix of performers who will arrive to Umag Stella Marris resort on May 26 and 27, from many European and regional addresses, just like their audience.

FRIDAY, MAY 26
Addiko Tesla Stage, the main stage of the festival will, on the first day, host some huge international and regional names in music. The list is headlined by electro-punk warriors The Prodigy, accompanied by the biggest band in the region, Dubioza Kolektiv, British dubstep heroes Modestep, as well as the hosts, Urban & 4 and Fakofbolan.

Nautilus Arena powered by Radio 101, the second largest stage, located within ATP stadium will be the scene of a heavy mixture of hip hop and electronics. Serbian Bad Copy, Slovenian Matter and Croatian Kiša Metaka, High5 & Kuku$ and Krankšvester are bringing with them their heavy street poetics, and the highly regarded trio Marina Karamarko, Aney F and Umek will turn the stadium into a big open air club.

SATURDAY, MAY 27
On Saturday, Addiko Tesla stage will bring a playful combination of global superstars and regional heroes. Fatboy Slim is back to Stella Maris, right on the seventh anniversary of his first performance in Croatia, and he will be joined by Paul Kalkbrenner with his exclusive “Back To The Future” set, Italian House king Spiller, techno icon Petar Dundov and synth-pop duo Nipplepeople.
Nautilus Arena powered by Radio 101 will bring entirely different sound in which the main roles will be played by Pendulum’s DJ set, Elemental and Sassja’s hip hop, PipsChips&Videoclips, Jonathan and Belgrade based Artan Lili’s alt rock, as well as punk folk brought by Brkovi from Zagreb.

Two out of the total of six festival stages now have their headliners, while the artists performing at the remaining four – Exotic Laguna, Zion Beats, Silent Octopus i Cinema Stage – will be revealed in the next ten days or so, together with the program for Day Zero (Thursday, May 25) and “Day After” (Sunday, May 28).

Sea Star Festival is located in the Stella Maris resort in Umag. All stages are in close proximity of the sea, and comfortable and well equipped accommodation (camp, hotels, apartments, villas) is 100 meters away, or at most 10 minutes walk away from the festival area.
