One of the most famous music festivals in the world is now coming to Croatia! After years of invitations by EXIT fans in the region and intensive cooperation with Croatian musicians, artists and the media since its establishment, EXIT team is coming to Istria this summer! Ultra Europe is a multi-venue outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival’s worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty countries. Ultra Europe made its debut as a two-day festival during 12-13 July 2013, and took place in Split, Croatia, with an additional Ultra Beach party in Hvar Island, Croatia. Croatia Match Cup Poreč 2017 brings one of the most prestigious sailing competitions in the world, World Match Racing Tour, and top-notch entertainment and gastronomy to Poreč, Croatia. From May 25th till May 28th 2017 a Croatian edition of World Match Racing Tour regatta, accompanied by a unique event Croatia Match Cup, will take place in the aquatorium of Peškera Bay, Poreč, and thus place Poreč on the map of the most prestigious sailing competitions in the world. Croatia Match Cup will bring the best sailing teams to Poreč, including a team led by our Olympic medal winners from Rio, Šime Fantela and Igor Marenić. Franjo Tuđman Airport, also known as Zagreb Airport (IATA: ZAG, ICAO: LDZA), is the largest and busiest international airport in Croatia, commonly referred to as Pleso. In 2016 it handled around 2,8 million passengers and some 10,000 tons of cargo. Named after Franjo Tuđman (1922-1999), the first President of Croatia, the airport is located some 10 km (6.2 mi) south-east of Zagreb Central Station at Velika Gorica. It is the hub for the Croatian flag carrier Croatia Airlines as well as Trade Air. A base of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence is located within the airport complex, in barracks called “Colonel Marko Živković”. An administrative centre of the Croatian Air Traffic Control is also situated on the grounds of the airport. The airport was awarded to the ZAIC consortium (Zagreb Airport International Company) in a 30-year concession under the terms of a contract signed by the Government of Croatia with the aforementioned. The contract includes financing, designing and the construction of a new passenger terminal. For the purpose of managing the airport ZAIC registered a company called MZLZ d.d.
